As technology has grown and developed with time there are much more possibilities with what it can be used for. Televisions play a great part in our lives, well it certainly does in mine, it provides an easily accessible resource for up-to-date news, entertainment as well as educational channels. However, many of us feel that for the high prices, we deserve more than we are getting.

A recent survey shows that around 62% of us in the US are very dissatisfied with the price that we are having to pay for cable, myself included and that a further 30% of us believe our cable providers are ‘Poor’.

Cost is clearly a big issue when it comes to buying your cable, some areas in America have no choice over cable companies which means they can charge what they like, but for the luckier of us there is hefty competition in the market with competitive prices.

Personally, I feel that although there is a lot of variety in programming on cable TV, there could be a lot more the amount of money we are paying.

Recently, a friend told me that she knows someone who hasn’t got cable because she ‘didn’t need it’ and the costs were simply ‘too high’ to pay every month. I questioned this as surely she must have a television. She told me that her friend watches ‘internet TV’ a concept that was completely new to me. Apparently she had had it for about a year now and she watches thousands of channels from all over the world withNO RECURRING PAYMENTS. I was in true amazement as i had never heard of internet TV before and i didn’t understand why.

I had done some research into online TV as I questioned myself whether it was worth the time. I found it to have many advantages; No recurring payments, thousands of channels to choose from, a variety or different channels, as well as the freedom to take it with me on my holidays and watch TV in a cafe!

After trying the software for myself I really didn’t understand why other people didn’t use it themselves, but after looking on the internet i discovered millions of other people who are using the same software.

Unlike my friends’ friend, I couldn’t live without my regular cable television all together, but this software i now have on my computer has given me the freedom to watch nearly anything I want wherever I want!
